Push-Ups: Daily Goal Tracker · Effective 16 October 2026
In short: the app does not collect, share or sell any personal data. Everything you log stays on your device. The app has no internet access, no account, no ads and no analytics.
This policy describes how the Android app Push-Ups: Daily Goal Tracker (package xyz.straycode.pushups), published by StrayCode (“we”), handles information.
Information the app stores
To work, the app keeps the following on your device only:
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Push-up entries: the number of push-ups and when you logged them | To show your daily totals, streaks, charts and history |
| Your goal plan: starting goal, target, weekly step and start date | To work out your daily goal and weekly progress |
| Whether the progress notification is turned on | To remember your setting |
| Whether you have seen the welcome screen | To show it only once |
This data is stored in the app's private storage on your device. We cannot see it and it is never sent to us or anyone else.
What we don't collect
- No name, email address, account or contact details
- No location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone access
- No device identifiers, advertising ID or usage analytics
- No crash reports or diagnostics sent by the app
The app does not request internet access, so it cannot send data anywhere. It contains no advertising, analytics or other third-party tracking code.
Permissions
- Notifications (optional, asked only if you turn on the progress notification): to show today's progress and quick-add buttons in your notifications.
- Run at startup and prevent phone from sleeping: used by Android's standard job scheduler (WorkManager) to keep the notification's once-a-day refresh scheduled after a restart. They don't give the app access to any of your data.
Backups
If you have turned on Android's device backup, Android may include the app's data in your device backup, stored in your Google account under Google's terms. This is controlled by your device settings; we have no access to these backups.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual entries in the app's log. To delete everything, clear the app's storage in Android settings or uninstall the app. Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Children
The app is a general fitness tool and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
